Michael Spears began his TV news career in his home state of Washington — KIMA-TV in Yakima provided the perfect first stop, where as a MMJ reporter, Michael was responsible for enterprising, shooting, writing and editing several stories daily that he would then publish on the station’s website and via social media channels. The skills learned there were carried with him and sharpened as he reported in North Carolina, Miami and eventually back home in Seattle.
